You’ll Miss Me When I’m Gone by A.R. Torre

Krysten’s Review
Reminiscent of Gone Girl, this short story features two very gray characters: A woman who goes to extremes to win back her distant husband, and a man who has no intentions of letting her. The author does a brilliant job building the story and the characters in a short space, and at more than one point, I genuinely did not know who was going to come out on top. The ending, however, felt rushed, and everything was a little too neatly resolved. But, that did not detract from the rest of the story, and I certainly plan to read more of A.R. Torre’s work in the future. If this is what she can do with a short story, I want to see what she can do with an entire novel!
You'll Miss Me When I'm Gone
A neglected wife’s elaborate plan to save her troubled marriage takes a deadly turn.
