My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Rating: 3.5/5
Stolen Things starts off with a bang, but once the initial momentum slowed down, I had trouble staying interested. I actually let the library loan expire for a while and then checked it out again later to finish it. Once I got back into it, it was a quick but compelling read with a few twists I didn’t see coming, though I did have an idea of who the Bad Guy was by the end. There was a fair amount of politics that bored me a little (I read to get away from the world), and I was a little confused at the end, but that’s probably because I wasn’t paying close enough attention to that part. But overall, I enjoyed it and would read another of Herron’s books in the future.
