Ten years ago, Jolene nearly killed her friend Elizabeth in a gruesome accident. And no one has any idea. Not even Elizabeth. Jolene has been trying to outrun the guilt ever since, wandering from place to place and career to career. So she’s shocked when, after her latest move, she runs into the very person she’s been trying to avoid for ten years.

Krysten’s Review

Memories are nothing but lies we tell ourselves.

Another mindf*ck of a thriller from Faith Gardner! Like It Never Happened made me question what’s real and left me wondering if there’s anyone you can trust—even yourself. I love Gardner’s flawed but real characters, the way she distorts reality but still makes it feel so real, the diabolical twists that completely change your perspective on the narrative, and the way the story sticks with you long after the last page. If you’re a fan of twisty, gasp-out-loud psychological thrillers, add Like It Never Happened to your TBR list right now!
