Jason Cavanaugh isn’t interested in romance. He only came to Brandywood to stop a private investigator from discovering the son his late brother never knew. Single mom Jen Klein is sick of working two jobs and still being broke. And her dating life seems plagued by bad luck and losers. She knows better than to look twice at the charming, mysterious man that just arrived in her small town.

Krysten’s Review

I enjoyed All This Time so much that, as soon as I finished reading, I downloaded the second book in the series.

Like its predecessor, I’ll Carry You was well written and easy to read. The characters and their lives are complicated and real. Although I didn’t care much for Jen in the previous book, I quickly fell in love with her in this one. (And I loved Millie… What a character!) Even though I knew the protagonists were going to get their happily ever after, I kept turning pages because I wanted to know how. So much happens to them that I just couldn’t see how the heck they were going to overcome all those obstacles. It may have been a bit too much drama for one story (one more secret coming to light would have probably thrown it over the edge of the believability cliff), and I did think they overcame all those problems a bit too easily, but it did make for a fun read.

Looking forward to the third book!
