Breaking The Silence by Diane Chamberlain

Breaking The Silence by Diane Chamberlain
Laura Brandon's promise to her dying father was simple: to visit an elderly woman she'd never heard of before. A woman who remembers nothing—except the distant past. Visiting Sarah Tolley seemed a small enough sacrifice to make—but Laura's promise results in another death: Her husband's.

Krysten’s Review

This book took a while to get into. The characters were flat and naive, and the writing style felt simplistic. Then it turned into a romance, which kind of irked me, because I wasn’t expecting that at all. Then it turned into something of a thriller, with so many dramatic twists that it was just unbelievable. Then it went back to being a romance. Still not sure what it was, but it definitely wasn’t my favorite.
