Being an indie author is hella difficult. Not only do I have to plot (fictional) murders and describe them in great detail, but I also have to edit my manuscript, design my cover and interior book layout, find beta and ARC readers, develop and execute my own marketing plan, manage multiple social media pages, keep my website up to date(ish), research Amazon keywords and categories, and… Well, you get the point.
And no, I was NOT a quintuple major in creative writing, marketing, advertising, graphic design, and public relations. (Please excuse me while my head explodes.)
But I’m not here to complain. I actually really love doing all that, but it is tough to juggle everything on top of a full-time job and, you know, life. This includes spoilers from the first book if you are reviewing the second. If your review contains spoilers, please use the spoiler tag on Goodreads. For reviews outside of Goodreads, remove the spoilers, blur/black them out in images, or insert a warning at the beginning of your review.

Other than that, shout it from the rooftops! Paint the town red! Spread the news like wildfire! Or, you know, any other cliche activities you can think of. Be creative!
