Woman on the Edge by Samantha M. Bailey

In a split second, Morgan Kincaid’s life changes forever. She’s on her way home from work when a mother begs her to take her baby, then places the infant in her arms. Before Morgan can stop her, the distraught mother jumps in front of an oncoming train.
Krysten’s Review
I’m torn about this book. On the one hand, it was a great premise, and it did keep me turning pages. On the other hand, the writing was a bit amateurish and there was a lot of info dumping. The characters felt underdeveloped; I never really connected with any of them. The (spoiler!) happily ever after ending felt out of place with the genre.
Overall, a good read, but it did fall a little flat for me.
